Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy

PIRJ employs a rigorous **double-blind peer review** process. This ensures that the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the entire review period.

Peer Review Process

  1. Initial Assessment: The Editor-in-Chief first evaluates all manuscripts for suitability, structure, and basic quality.
  2. Blind Review: Manuscripts are then sent to at least two subject experts for detailed review.
  3. Review Criteria: Reviewers assess originality, methodology, clarity, and relevance to the field.
  4. Recommendations: Reviewers recommend acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
  5. Editorial Decision: The Editor makes a final decision based on reviewer reports.

Review Timeline

The average time from submission to the first editorial decision is approximately 4-8 weeks. PIRJ is committed to a fair and timely review process.
