Withdrawal Policy

Article Withdrawal Policy

PIRJ recognizes that sometimes an author may wish to withdraw their manuscript after submission. Our policy ensures transparency and ethical handling of such requests.

Withdrawal Stages

  • Pre-Review: Authors can withdraw the paper at this stage without penalty.
  • During/Post Review: Authors must provide a formal letter explaining the reasons for withdrawal. The Editorial Board will evaluate the request.

Correction and Retraction

If serious errors or ethical violations are discovered after publication, PIRJ may publish a **Correction** or a **Retraction Notice**. In cases of retraction, the original article will stay in the archive but will be clearly watermarked as "RETRACTED" to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.
